Not mad, not sad.
Just done.
Things change over time, & sometimes it is time to draw a line in the sand, surrender to what is, and start the wobbly steps of moving forward.
Without letting go completely of the past, we allow space for ‘it’ to sit within us, so we live alongside of it all, but with the capacity for it not to completely overwhelm us anymore.
I know all about this…I know how every fibre of your being just wants to keep gripping and grinding through the story, whatever that is. I’m not talking about a badly done manicure, I am talking about the big stuff we have to deal with. Sometimes everyday. Things that blow up our lives in ways we could have never imagined. But it is in our relationship to anything that determines our responsiveness or reactivity.
Holding onto things, past experiences, & identities makes us feel safe. Even when they’re crap.
Sometimes it’s all we have known for a very long time, and moving into unknown territory is too much of a stretch.
But what if the holding on is actually holding us back?
each one leads to more
we can choose to commit to a recursive and infinite path that elegantly creates more of the same.
We can choose possibility We can choose connection. Every moment we have the power to choose.
We can choose optimism, We can choose justice, We can choose kindness, We can choose resilience, and we can decide to take responsibility.
Each leads to more of the same.
So what are you going to choose?

The process of being in transition in Midlife, brings challenges in bucketloads.
In amongst the brain fog, creaky joints, lack of sleep - all the fun stuff - can we take this moment as an opportunity for clarity? I know…it feels like an impossible task.
To ask for and seek something better for ourselves?
To have a solutions based mindset, and not absorb society’s
view that we are washed up old hags and embrace our wisdom, our bodies?
To seek out resources, & be discerning about the information, products, attitudes we choose to engage with?
Yesterday I did a Webinar - Baggage & Bucketlists. I included a recipe for a delicious salad for lunch and a few prompts to get us thinking.
I have put it up on my website as the first installation of an ongoing conversation. It is a solid introduction in building a foundation for moving forward in your world. Take a look here.
I will keep banging on about this space I continue to build- Moore Nourishing Life, albeit with more attention and fervour now, because time is of the essence - if not now, when, AND, besides, it is a great place to land.
To help us live life in the transitions and continue to define & refine, who we are, what we love & strategise on how to get there is why I do what i do. Learning how to embrace the the chaos, to reimagine & build the scaffolding of our lives one step at a time. Practical, doable, supportive, motivating.
Remember … Your Story Isn’t Over Yet.
You can be gorgeous at thirty, charming at forty & irresistible for the rest of your life.
